About this Event
Jon Obermeyer is Michelle's NPO mentor for novas and has been guiding her in writing and finding grants. He will review how to write grants and teach us how to leverage grant writing skills in sectors that are for profit. With his extensive background he is able to share knowledge, tips, and skills that anyone can benefit from, not just those in the nonprofit space. Attendees will also receive a copy of his book.

Jon's Bio:
Jon is passionate about communication. The ability to articulate a clear, concise and compelling summary on a variety of topics, or across a number of industry use cases, is what he considers to be his greatest talent. He has a wide variety of experience including marketing, business development, and deep project management chops. One of his top skills is translating highly technical topics into a board level/executive business framework that speaks to readers and leaders. Additionally, he writes, edits, and coaches business books, blogs, ebooks, social posts, and video scripts.
He has 10 years experience as CEO, GM, VP, and director level leadership along with 16 years of marketing and communications experience supporting B2B and B2C
global sales teams, strategic partnerships and customer acquisition.
