About this Event

Join the TERI Campus of Life team for a free Nonprofit NetWalk in the beautiful hills of the Twin Oaks Valley in San Marcos! This event offers a great opportunity to connect with fellow nonprofit leaders, funders, and board members in a relaxed and scenic environment.

We will be joined by TERI’s Director of Equestrian, Natalie Hill as well as CEO Cheryl Kilmer. Join us for this fun networking event!

Date and Time: Friday, December 4, 2026, 10:30 AM

Location: TERI Campus of Life, 555 Deer Springs Road, San Marcos CA 92069

Park in the North Lot under the solar arrays and meet in front of the Barn in the Brickyard Terrace.

Parking: All parking on the TERI campus is free. When you enter the campus gates, follow the roundabout and the driveway up to the North Lot under the solar arrays. Walk south until you find the entrance gate to the barn on the right (West) side of the campus (you will see the arena and barn along the way). We will gather in the Brickyard Terrace in front of the Barn and a continental breakfast will be available before the walk. You will also, if interested, have an opportunity to meet the TERI horses before or after the walk!

Who Can Attend: Any nonprofit leaders, philanthropists, board members and supporters of nonprofits. Leashed and well-behaved furry friends are welcome to join us.

Difficulty Level: Easy. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen.

Notes: Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before start to give yourself time to park and find us. Bring your own water bottle, and TERI will provide extra water as needed.

About Our Host:

For 46 years, TERI (Training Education Resource Institute) has been transforming lives, pioneering innovative solutions, and redefining what is possible for children, adults, seniors, and families affected by autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). In 1980, visionary advocate Cheryl Kilmer created TERI from a belief that individuals with disabilities deserve far more than institutionalization or minimal support services. They deserve opportunities to learn, work, create, live independently, build meaningful relationships, and fully participate in their communities. Today, TERI continues to lead that movement, serving hundreds of individuals annually through lifelong, person-centered programs that empower each individual to learn, thrive and reach their fullest potential.
