The Nonprofit Learning Lab is an immersive, in-person training designed to help nonprofit leaders strengthen their organizational foundations and clarify their impact. This two-day experience equips participants with the tools, language, and perspective needed to lead healthy, effective nonprofits that contribute to long-term community change.
The Learning Lab creates space for leaders to step back from day-to-day demands, reflect on how their organization is operating, and make intentional decisions about where they are headed.
What You Will Learn

Participants will walk through the core elements every nonprofit needs to operate with clarity and integrity. The Learning Lab focuses on aligning mission with practice, understanding key legal and financial responsibilities, and building systems that support sustainability and credibility. Interactive learning, guided exercises, and peer discussion help leaders translate ideas into practical next steps for their organization.
Who This Learning Lab Is For
Nonprofit Founders • Early-Stage Nonprofit Leaders • Executive Directors • Board Members • Longstanding Nonprofit Leaders Seeking Greater Clarity & Impact
This Learning Lab is for leaders who already have a nonprofit, whether newly launched or well-established, and want to strengthen their foundation. Participants come ready to clarify their mission and impact, assess how their programs and systems are functioning, and make thoughtful adjustments that support long-term effectiveness.
What’s Included
Coffee and light refreshments will be available each morning, with lunch and snacks provided both days. All learning materials will be provided.
Pay What You Can | Scholarship-Funded Access
The Nonprofit Learning Lab is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis because we believe access to high-quality nonprofit training should not be limited by financial capacity. Thanks to the generosity of donors and partners, this program is partially scholarship-funded.
To begin the process, please complete the application below. After your application is reviewed, you will receive next steps. If a scholarship is requested, a brief additional step may be required as part of the award process. No payment is required to apply, and payment is only requested after enrollment is confirmed.
