The Nonfiction Book Club is reading Dinner with King Tut: How Rogue Archaeologists Are Re-Creating the Sights, Sounds, Smells, and Tastes of Lost Civilizations by Sam Kean. We have a good idea of what the mighty pyramids of Egypt looked like but what about the other senses such as the tang of Roman fish sauce or the spring crust of Egyptian sourdough?
