In February, the recipient of our Big Change program is Cougar Cupboard and we welcome their group into the store to teach us about the program.
Cougar Cupboard - University of Sioux Falls
USF's food pantry began in Spring 2021 to serve a growing need for students. According to Hunger on Campus, 47% of 4-year college students reported food insecurity (Association of American Colleges & Universities, 2017). Cougar Cupboard provides non-perishable food and personal hygiene items to any member of the USF community who is in need. The Cougar Cupboard is located on the lower level of the Mears Library. It is open during regular library hours during the academic year.
Join us for our $5.00 Community Dinner where USF will have an information table for Cougar Cupboard setup and will also be accepting donations of non-perishable food items & personal hygiene items.
