Non-commercial Screening: You Are the Universe with English subtitles

Dear friends, we warmly invite you to a charity screening of the feature film “You Are the Universe” in Newcastle, presented as part of the International Film Marathon Culture Vs War, dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the russian federation.

“You Are the Universe” (2025, 102 min, directed by Pavlo Ostrikov) is a Ukrainian science fiction film about loneliness, human connection, and choice in a world after catastrophe. This film is not only a film about space, but about humanity, hope, and responsibility in times of destruction — themes that deeply resonate with the experience of contemporary Ukraine.

Marathon film screenings will take place in many cities around the world, highlighting the events and consequences of the war in Ukraine through the stories of Ukrainians.

The Culture vs War Film Marathon is initiated by the Watch Ukrainian Association, with the support of the MHP–Hromadi Charitable Foundation and in cooperation with the MFA of Ukraine.
In the United Kingdom, the Marathon is co-organised by KRYLA Culture CIC in partnership with Tyneside cinema & Ukrainian Community Group NE , supported by Ukrainian Film Club.
