I had hoped to restart choir this week, but there are a few things happening in our family and our new venue that mean I need to push the start date back to WEDNESDAY 12th FEBRUARY
We will be experimenting with a new meeting time of 6:30pm - 8:00pm on Wednesdays.
We will now be meeting at QIRKZ in the Hunter. Address: 141 Cessnock Rd, Abermain NSW 2326 (the former Denman Hotel)
It's going to be a fun change for us, and a great opportunity to keep the things we love about choir and shake up some new things too!
2. Term one activities
This is what I thought:
12th Feb - Welcome back to choir, first gathering at our new venue
19th Feb - New song - Above my Head
26th Feb - Learning harmonies for some of our favourite songs
5th March - Tshirt week for those who need one (bring a plain black t-shirt + $6)
12th March - Cardboard box drumming
19th March - New song - Click go the shears
26th March - 50's music sing along
2nd April - Adding more harmonies to favourite songs
9th April - Bring a plate, end of term social night
