Step into the night for a Friday the 13th night hike and experience Greenway Farms after dark on this family- and beginner-friendly Night Hike with Outdoor Chattanooga. Guided by a naturalist, we’ll explore the trail using our senses—hearing, touch, smell, taste, and sight—to discover how humans and nocturnal animals navigate the nighttime world.
Along the way, enjoy hands-on activities like a bat-inspired echolocation game, “deer ears” listening challenges, mystery touch objects, owl and frog calls, and stargazing as we spot constellations like the Big Dipper and Orion.
This hike is interactive, educational, and more wonder-filled than scary. Flashlight use will be limited to help everyone experience true night vision.
