Join the North Oakland Concert Band for “Melodic Voices!” This concert will present music from both the North Oakland Concert Band and the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale. Highlights from the NOCB will be “Havana” by Kevin Day and “Folk Dances” by Dimitri Shostakovich. Combined number will be “Battle Hymn of the Republic” by William Steffe; setting by Peter Wilhousky arr. James Neilson.
