Understanding Death Anxiety and Planning Ahead.
Death is the one certainty we all share, yet it's something many of us find difficult to talk about or face without feeling anxious.
In this straight-talking session, Taboo Education breaks down why we’re so terrified of the inevitable and offers practical, real-world tools to manage that anxiety. Come learn how to navigate the hard stuff with a little less fear, a lot more honesty, and a bit of humour.
The session will be followed by a presentation from Purslowe & Chipper Funerals, providing practical information about funeral planning, what to expect when arranging a funeral, and the many ways services can be tailored to reflect the wishes, values and lives of those being remembered.
There will also be a range of information stalls featuring organisations and services connected to end-of-life planning, grief support, compassionate communities, and other topics relevant to all things dying, offering attendees the opportunity to explore resources, ask questions, and connect with local support.
