NOW OFTEN ALWAYS Women's Wellness Retreat: Thriving in Your Body
Join NOA for an immersive day dedicated to women's health, where you can disconnect from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself. This retreat offers a nurturing space for women to gather, unwind, and empower themselves with knowledge about their bodies. Our goal is to provide an enriching experience that combines movement, mindfulness, and expert insights, leaving you with a deeper understanding of your health and well-being.
Our carefully curated activities and discussions will help you rejuvenate both physically and mentally. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, informed, and equipped with practical tips to thrive in your body.
Event Agenda:
10:00 AM: Arrival & Welcome
- Begin your day with a warm welcome as you arrive at the serene retreat venue. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while taking in the tranquil surroundings. This is your time to settle in and prepare for the day ahead.
10:30 AM: Mat Pilates Class with Ionie Brown
- Engage your body with a 45-minute Mat Pilates session led by our skilled instructor, Ionie Brown. This class is designed to strengthen your core, improve flexibility, and align your body and mind. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this session will leave you feeling invigorated and strong.
11:15 AM: Barefoot 3K Jog or Walk
- Step outside and breathe in the fresh air as Toby leads a refreshing 3K barefoot jog or walk. This gentle run is tailored to all fitness levels and encourages grounding and a deeper connection with nature.
11:45 AM: Ice Barrels, Pond Dip, and Sauna
- Revitalise your senses with a series of invigorating activities, including a dip in ice barrels, a pond swim, and a session in the sauna. These therapeutic experiences are designed to boost circulation, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. Towels are provided.
12:45 PM: Lunch
- Nourish your body with a delicious vegan Buddha bowl lunch, prepared with fresh, wholesome ingredients. The meal is designed to complement the day’s activities, providing the energy and nutrients your body needs. Coffee will be available after lunch for a little pick-me-up before our afternoon session.
1:30 PM: Panel Discussion: Thriving in Your Body
- Join us for an enlightening panel discussion featuring two expert panelists: The discussion will cover topics such as hormonal health, nutrition, fitness, and mental well-being. This is your chance to ask questions and engage with experts who are dedicated to supporting your health journey.
Cara Shaw: Cara is a Registered Nutritional Therapist & Nutrigenomic Practitioner who specialises in female health. After years of navigating her own symptoms of both PCOS and endometriosis, along with a difficult journey to conceive, she embarked on a career change into Nutrition & later into Genetics. Her mission is to educate and empower women on how to optimise the female body via dietary and lifestyle changes.
Dr. Lauren Flynn: Dr Lauren Flynn has a background working as a senior Obstetrics and Gynaecology Doctor in the NHS. She is a published academic author and she has worked with women at all stages of their gynaecological journey. She is passionate about helping women to greater understand their bodies to empower them to live better lives.
2:30 PM: Wrap-Up & Farewell
- As the day comes to a close, we’ll gather for a final reflection on the retreat's themes. This is your time to connect with fellow participants, share your experiences, and leave with a renewed sense of purpose and well-being.
3:00 PM: Departure
We look forward to welcoming you to a day of self-care, education, and connection. This retreat is more than just a day away; it's a step toward a healthier, more vibrant you.
