About this Event
Some events are full of people, but still feel strangely empty.
You leave with names, maybe even a few laughs, but not that sense of having actually met someone.
The No Small Talk Club is an evening designed to change that.
It’s a small, guided social experience where conversation isn’t left to chance. Instead of awkward mingling or forced networking, we use simple, playful activities that help people open up naturally.
What unfolds is usually unexpected: strangers becoming comfortable, conversations getting real faster than you’d think, and a room that slowly stops feeling like a room of strangers.
What you can expect:
- You arrive to tea, snacks, and a warm welcome. Doors open at 15:30.
- From there, we move through a few guided activities that make it easy to connect - no pressure, no performance, no “what do you do?” loops.
- Later, there’s space to simply talk to whoever you want, or just stay in the unique energy of this historic space.
This is for you if you:
- Are curious about people but hate small talk
- Are new to Amsterdam or feel socially “in between”
- Want deeper conversations without forced intimacy
- Like the idea of facilitated social experiences
You don’t need to be anything in particular.
Not outgoing. Not interesting. Not socially “on”.
Just willing to show up.
