About this Event
No Shame November is an annual awareness campaign by Sana Lake Recovery. Launched in 2021, the goal of No Shame November is to reduce the stigma and shame often associated with alcohol and substance use disorders. The campaign is about spreading hope and encouraging individuals still struggling with SUD to reach out for help.
By uniting people and organizations from across the Greater St. Louis area—such as individuals in recovery, their families, addiction treatment professionals, hospitals, first responders, law enforcement, and healthcare providers—No Shame November sends the powerful message that there is no shame in getting help.
ABOUT THE EVENT
We will meet at the Tremayne Shelter at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial park. Various community partners will have tables providing information and resources for the community. Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and water bottles will be provided.
At 2PM we'll hear a short message from individuals impacted by SUD, as well as the CEO of Sana Lake Recovery, Paul Melnuk.
Together, we'll walk the Lakeview Loop immediately following the speakers.
