NO OTHER LAND Outdoor Film Screening & Cacao Ceremony

Join us for an outdoor community screening of No Other Land, Academy award-winning documentary chronicling life under occupation in the South Hebron Hills of Palestine. The film offers a deeply personal lens into displacement, resilience, and the sacred bond between people and land.

This evening continues the thread begun with our Where Olive Trees Weep our beloved Vigil for Palestine last month — this is a call to remain present, awake, and tender amidst collective grief and injustice.

After the screening, we will share a cacao ceremony, with traditional cacao from Ecuador inviting the heart to open as we honor our grief and interconnectedness and ancestral reverence. Cacao, a plant ally known for awakening compassion and clarity, will guide us in remembering that love itself is an act of resistance.

Bring a blanket, an item for the altar, and your prayers.

This is a space of reverence, solidarity, and hope.
