NO KINGS Nationwide Mass Protest & March - Father Duffy Square (Times Square)

LOCATION CHANGE: The starting point location of this march has been changed from Bryant Park to Father Duffy Square (47th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue) in Times Square. The northern border of Father Duffy Square is the "Red Stairs", with the TKTS Booth under the steps. Also the starting time for the march has been changed to 11:00am. See below, our veg/vegan group will now be optionally meeting at 10:30am in front of the Renaissance Hotel at 714 7th Avenue, between 47th & 48th Streets, up the street from Father Duffy Square. I will be holding a VEG MEETUP sign. (Or you can just show up to the march on your own.)

NOTE: this will be a march, not a rally! Enter from the northern side, and we recommend using subway stops on 47th-50th Streets.

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Optional Meeting Point: You can just join the protest on your own, you don't have to march with other meetup members. But for those who want to arrive early and march together, we will meet at 10:30am in front of the Renaissance New York-Times Square Hotel at 714 7th Avenue, between 47th & 48th Streets, on 7th Avenue, half a block north of Father Duffy Square. We will meet in front of (outside of) the front doors to the hotel, and I will hold up a VEG MEETUP sign. We will wait in front of the Renaissance Hotel for 10 minutes only, until 10:40am, and then walk down the street to Father Duffy Square. If you want to meet us, don't be late, and you may want to plan to be early due to large crowds and delayed travel time.
