President Trump thinks his rule is absolute, but in America, we don’t do “kings.” On March 28, we are taking to the streets to remind this administration that they do not have a mandate to dismantle our democracy.
Since the inauguration, we have seen an unprecedented power grab. From using OUR tax dollars to fund authoritarian takeovers of our cities to the deployment of masked agents in our communities, the line has been crossed. This isn't just a political disagreement; it is a fight for the fabric of our country.
🇺🇸 PART OF A NATIONAL MOVEMENT
Twin Falls is standing tall alongside hundreds of cities across the country. This March 28 mobilization is the third national "No Kings" Day of Action, proving that from small towns to major hubs, the American people will not accept the rise of a monarchy or the gutting of our constitutional rights.
🛡️ WHY WE ARE MOBILIZING:
Against the "Monarchy": We reject the idea of a third term and the attempt to govern through fear.
Protecting Our Resources: While essential services are gutted, public money is poured into mass detentions and billionaire giveaways.
Defending Our Rights: We are standing up against federal intimidation and the assault on free speech.
THE SCHEDULE
11:00 AM: Gathering & Community Connection
11:30 AM: Opening songs to kick off the rally 🎸
Noon: Guest speakers share insights and calls to action 🎤
1:00 PM: The Singing Resistance returns for two powerful songs 🎶
1:30 PM: THE PROTEST BEGINS. We take our message to the sidewalks. ✊
FOOD & ACTION
🌮 Fuel Up: Lemon Made will be on-site with fresh lemonade. We are currently finalizing additional local food partners, stay tuned for updates! You are also welcome to bring your own snacks and water.
✍️ Action Stations: Visit our Sign-Making Station to prep for the protest and the Voter Information Table to get resources on making your voice heard.
🤝 Community Tables: Connect with statewide Idaho groups and organizations working to protect our rights.
