Fresh off the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (Pleasance), this critically-acclaimed solo musical drama blends theatre, film, and original songs by LA-based performer Stacie Burrows set to the backdrop of West Texas dive bars and graveyards.
Her grandfather drank himself to death in the 50's in El Paso, Texas and wound up buried in another woman's grave. As she moves through the generations of the family, we learn that history doesn't always repeat itself, but it often rhymes. This is a tribute to the women who persevered despite being tethered to an addict.
Directed and Co-Devised by Katierose Donohue Enriquez (Queen of Fishtown). Musical direction by Sam Small. WINNER Best of Feury Developmental Award Hollywood Fringe.
