What’s the easiest way to save money? Not spending it at all! Whether you’re avoiding Black Friday crowds or following the new “underconsumption core” lifestyle, our No-Buy Black Friday event will inspire you to embrace a more minimalist approach to the holiday season.As part of the “buy nothing” mindset, we will have a reusable mug swap to kick off the event! Bring your old thermoses and travel mugs to trade with other hikers. We will supply coffee!
-What to Bring: Long pants and sturdy shoes are recommended. Remember to layer up as temperatures drop!
-Trail: This hike will be about 1 mile long, with varying terrain. There may be short sections of either stairs or steep (up to 40-degree) inclines, with most of the trail being relatively flat. Some sections of the trail are narrower than 3 feet wide.
-Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather. No rain date.
-Amenities: Accessible outdoor restrooms and parking will be available. No potable water.
