NNPD First Responders CO-ED Softball Tournament

Come join the Newport News Police Department on April 18, 2026 at Stoney Run Athletic Complex as we host the NNPD First Responders CO-ED Softball Tournament! Get ready to show off your skills and cheer on your favorite teams. Watch as our local heroes battle it out on the softball field in this exciting event. Enjoy the Pop Flys and Home Runs with great food and activities for the Kids. So get your teams together and Let’s Play Ball!

Tournament will be 3 game minimum, with top teams advancing to bracket play.

Registration Check-in starts at 830am. First round of games start at 9am.

Registration fee: $300 Per Team. Payment details below.

Registration Closes on April 3, 2026

Only Primary Contact needs to register for each team. Final roster must be submitted by April 6, 2026.

Requirements for Teams:

• Must be First Responders or Civilian employees (Police, Sheriff, Fire/EMS, Dispatch, Military, DOC). Family members 17 & up welcome to play.

• Must have a minimum of 3 female players per team.
• ALL PLAYERS MUST SIGN WAIVER TO PLAY!!

Each registered player will recieve ONE ticket that can be redeemed for ONE Free Concessions Meal or ONE Raffle entry.

To make a payment in advance: Please make check out to: Newport New Police Foundation. Please include Team Name/Department on the Memo Line. Send Check to PO BOX 120496 Newport News, VA 23612 no later than April 3, 2026.

Checks and Cash payments will be taken at check-in.

Rainout Dates: April 19, May 2 & May 3, 2026

Refunds will only be issued if the tournament is canceled by NNPD.

All Proceeds go to the Newport News Police Foundation.

Enjoy the tournament with a Juicy Cheeseburger or Hotdog right off the grill from concessions. While you are at it, pick up some goodies at the bake sale; Don't forget to get your tickets for the raffles.
