NMITE Military to Business Showcase 2026

Samantha Lewis, NMITE Director of People & Operations will be hosting the event, which will be held on Thursday 18th of June 2026, from 10am to 3pm, at the Skylon Campus, in Hereford. This year, we are extremely proud to be sponsored by Level Peaks, a leading supplier of specialist equipment and clothing to the military, emergency services, and outdoor sectors.

Over the last 7 years, NMITE has been working very closely with the military and veteran community in Hereford and further afield. Having developed lifelong learning programmes and providing support through our partners, we have been able to access new avenues of employment and skill enhancement.

The event aims to:

• Signpost the support available to the veteran community, military leavers, spouses and children
• Showcase successful veteran owned businesses
• Provide information on pathways available within local businesses to the military and veteran community
• Highlight employment opportunities available
• Offer pathways to education and skills
• Provide opportunities for networking

Free parking is available onsite and refreshments will be available for you to purchase throughout the day.

NMITE is fortunate to be supported at this event by West Midland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association. West Midland RFCA is one of 13 RFCAs across the UK that came into existence at the same time as the Territorial Army in 1908. Their role is to support the Reserves Forces and Cadets from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and Royal Air Forces within their region. This is includes advocating and promoting support for the Reserve and Cadets through engagement with employers and community and managing the volunteer estate of Reserve Centres and Cadet centres on behalf of the MoD.
