UTC-07:00Location
First Presbyterian Church Palo Alto | Palo Alto, CA
Our final concert of the 2025-2026 season will begin with the elegance and melodic richness of Wolfgang Mozart’s Concerto for Flute, Harp and Orchestra featuring the orchestra’s own flutist Margaret Warton and harpist Toshimi Kusajima. We will transition to a more rustic musical palette with Mikhail Glinka’s Kamarinskya, a work based on two Russian folk tunes, and George Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1 in the second half of the program. The concert will conclude with selections from Maurice Ravel’s ethereal Mother Goose Suite, conducted by Jenny Beyer Cornell in her final appearance as full-time Music Director of the New Millennium Chamber Orchestra.
There will be a special reception celebrating Jenny’s achievements following our Sunday performance as she steps into her role as Music Director Emerita.
Join us Saturday May 9th at 7 PM at Transfiguration Episcopal Church in San Mateo and Sunday May 10th at 3 PM at Palo Alto’s First Presbyterian Church for “Transitions”.
Advance Tickets are available on Square or at the door:
