Event Overview: This is the official NL Championships for weightlifting, required for participants seeking to qualify for national and international competitions. The event will follow official IWF weight categories and divisions, providing qualifying opportunities for National Seniors (May 2025), National Masters (July 2025), and World Masters (September 2025).

Event Schedule:

Weigh-In:
- First Session: Weigh-in at 8:00 am for the session starting at 10:00 am.
- Second Session: Weigh-in at 10:00 am for the session starting at 12:00 pm.

Sessions:
- First Session: Starts at 10:00 am.
- Second Session: Starts at 12:00 pm.
- Each session will have 10 competitors and last approximately 90-120 minutes.
- The event is limited to 20 participants, allowing for two sessions.

Competition Details:
- Categories: Male and Female divisions across Junior, Senior (ages 20-34), and Master (age 35+) categories.
- Weight Classes: Official IWF weight categories apply for all age groups.

Awards:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places awarded per category.
- Best Male and Best Female lifters (based on Sinclair scores).
- Best Master Male and Best Master Female (based on modified Sinclair scores).

Measurements:
- All weights are measured in kilograms.
- Competition lifts start at 20kg for women (barbell and collars) and 25kg for men (barbell), increasing in 1kg increments.

Qualification & Doping Control:
- Qualification: Athletes with full NLWA memberships can qualify for national and international events.
- Doping Control: May be conducted as requested by NLWA to meet qualification event requirements.

Fees:
Registration Fee:
- $145: Includes full NLWA annual membership (valid until end of 2025).
- $120: Includes NLWA day pass (results will not qualify for records or qualifications for national events).
- Note: All competitors must have an NLWA membership or day pass to participate.

Additional Information:
- Final Results: Managed by NLWA, with full members' results forwarded to national bodies.
- Limited Spots Available: Event capped at 20 participants—early registration is encouraged.
