Program presented by the North Jersey Highlands Historical Society. The Montclair and Greenwood Lake Railroad at one time served the iron industry at Ringwood & Long Pond, supported the local ice industry, and transported tourists to the once-thriving vacation destination of Greenwood Lake. This presentation will talk about the railroad's impact on the local industry and provide historic images of the rail line in the area.
Presented by Kevin Olsen: historian, author, and past NJHHS president.
Program takes place on Sunday, May 18th at 1:30pm in the Coffee Shop at Ringwood Manor. FREE and open to the public!
