Yes, it is the NJFA's 51st Annual Meeting! Register today!
Our keynote speaker will be Paul Catanzaro, Professor and State Extension Forester, University of Massachusetts Amherst and Co-Director of the Family Forest Research Center. Professor Catanzaro, one of the most recognized voices of ecological forestry, teaches Forest Ecology and Conservation, including Forest Resources Management, Land Protection, Silviculture, Forest Measurements, Timber Management and Natural Resurce Inventory. He has engaged in many outreach projects, is co-author of numerous Research and Outreach Publications, and has just released a co-authored book: Tending Your Forest, A Guide to Ecological Forest Stewardship in the Eastern and Central US. He holds a BA from Hamilton College, an MS from Slippery Rock University and an MS from the State University of NY at Syracuse.
This event is pending approval for NJ Urban and Community Forestry CEUs.

- We will be joined by our partners at the NJ Forest Service, NJ Forest Fire Service, Rutgers University, Natural Resources Conservation Service, NJ Fish & Wildlife, US Forest Service, US Fish & Wildlife, Stockton University, NJ Audubon, The Nature Conservancy, NJ Outdoor Alliance, NJ Wildlife Society, and others.
We will report on legislative activity and rulemaking affecting NJ's forests and forest landowners, including farmland assessment.
We will also conduct our annual business meeting, including a report on the NJFA's 2025 accomplishments, plans for the current year, and election of directors.

- You own woodlands in New Jersey, and want to get up-to-date information on successful, science-based forest management techniques, forest issues and threats, wildfire risk, prevention and response, pending legislation/regulation, farmland assessment, and other matters affecting your property.

2026 NJFA Members are eligible to attend this meeting at a discounted ticket price. If you are not a 2026 member of the NJFA, or have not yet renewed your NJFA membership for 2026, you can join/renew your membership along with your registration.
Seating is limited, so registering early is suggested. Registration fee includes full program plus a continental breakfast and luncheon. PLEASE NOTE: Parking Registration Link will be provided by email prior to the meeting date (YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER PARKING FOR YOUR VEHICLE WITH RUTGERS).
