About this Event
NJ Salsa-Waterside
We're excited to announce the launch of our residency at Waterside, in North Bergen!
Entailed in our residency are Latin dance classes in a private event space at Waterside, followed by a social open to the public in the lounge, with some of our favorite DJs!
The aim of our residency at Waterside, is to provide an opportunity for people to learn Salsa & Bachata, through formal instruction in a group setting, and to provide a space for practical application through our Latin music & dance social in the lounge.

We'll ground this popular Latin dance with progressive lessons in basic steps, turns, and patterns. A solid foundation of fundamentals will prepare participants for social & recreational experiences, whether it's dancing at a lounge, or a special occasion.
SALSA (Level 1), 8-9pm
A series of beginner-friendly classes designed to prepare participants for social dancing.
Participants gain a foundation in Salsa by acquiring knowledge and practice in basic steps, timing, coordination, dance positions, transitions, turns-in-place, traveling turns, and partner-work sequences.
NJ SALSA
Over the last 10 years, NJ Salsa has taught thousands of people to social dance to Latin music, in localities that range from Asbury Park to American Dream! We're excited to establish a presence in North Bergen, at the beautiful Waterside!
SOCIAL, 8:30pm-11:30pm
After our classes, we will offer a Latin mix social with NJ Salsa DJs. Our DJs will play mostly Salsa & Bachata, with some Merengue and Latin Top 40 mixed in. The social is open to everyone, so feel free to invite friends.
