Nirvani - A Nirvana Tribute Experience formed in 2021 with an inspired vision to perform the most accurate and captivating Nirvana live show since the real thing.
For Nirvani, it's much more than simply being a tribute band. It's about paying homage to a golden era in music and the unique and raw atmosphere Nirvana contributed to that era.
Nirvani embodies Cobain, Novoselic, and Grohl in their talent and authenticity. Each band member is dedicated to portraying both the appearance and playing styles of their Nirvana counterparts. This combined with their use of authentic vintage instruments makes Nirvani a live tribute concert experience that leaves audiences simultaneously satisfied and longing for more.
About Far Above the Ground:
Far Above The Ground was formed in the winter of 2004. Jason Rowman (Drums) & Ryan Stark (Vocalist, Guitar) have been the original members adding James Bannon on bass guitar 9 years ago and then Mike Mazurkiewicz on lead guitar shortly after. Playing every dive bar and local club up and down New England they managed to form a unique throw back sound similar to The Replacements, Green Day, All, Descendents, Brand New, Lit, gin blossoms etc. In 2015 FATG got their break due to Paramount Pictures using their original song "lonely" which was featured in the international trailer and blu ray version of the movie Trainwreck featuring Amy Shummer. As the band continued to craft their sound and style the were contacted by Lou plaia co founder of Reverbnation to play The Final Vans Warped Tour which fatg got to share the stage with some of their idols (State Champs, less than Jake, reel big fish, Senses Fail and Simple Plan. In August of 18' Fatg opened for grammy winning rock band Soul Asylum then The Ataris This past November opened for Samiam & moving targets. With stellar reviews from many such as ex manager of guns n roses and motley crue. Fatg has gained serious momentum and continue to score amazing gigs/opportunities. In late march 2022 the band opened for Marcy playground , April opened for Sponge, August opened for Jimmie’s chicken shack. Upcoming gig opening for enuff znuff on September 8th
