Ninetieth Anniversary of the Dedication of the Church

On 5 December 1936, the church of St Mary-the-Virgin, Kenton was consecrated to the worship of Almighty God by the Rt Rev'd the Lord Bishop of London. Ninety years later - to the day and to the hour - (and, as per the attached invitation) we cordially invite you to join us, on Saturday, 5 December at 3.30pm, to celebrate nine decades of blessings since, in a special anniversary Mass.
We look forward to being joined by our friends from other parishes, and by representatives of the local community which we continue to serve - including the Mayor of Harrow, and other distinguished guests.
Our guest preacher will be Fr Christopher Trundle SSC, Vicar of Our Most Holy Redeemer, Clerkenwell; the service will feature original compositions for brass and organ, and our praise and thanksgiving will be followed by plenty to eat and drink in the church Hall.
To assist with catering, RSVP (by 27 November) to [email protected]
