Nimbus Dance comes to Summit for two performances featuring the company's bold, physical work alongside the next generation of dancers growing right here in the Summit community.
The program includes Samuel Pott’s “Surface Tension,” a meditation on life, death, and what lies beneath the surface, set to music by Brahms and Liszt; “Roseification,” featuring music by Paquito D’Rivera and Valerie Coleman; and an exclusive preview of a new work by Princess Grace Award-winning choreographer Omar Román de Jesús ahead of its world premiere on November 13.
Students from the School of Nimbus Dance complete the program with excerpts from “Don Quixote,” staged by School Co-Director Sarah Lane!
