Nikkei Matsuri - Japanese Friendship Garden Monthly Cleanup

Due to recent City requirements, volunteers are required to share their vaccination status to volunteer at City led volunteer events. On the day of the volunteer event please be ready to present to staff:

Your vaccination card, picture of your vaccination card or your State of California QR code/digital card in-person AND government issued ID.

**This requirement applies to volunteers who are currently eligible to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine.​​​​**

If you prefer not to share your vaccination status, we encourage you to delay your participation in volunteer events and return when you are comfortable in providing the required information or until guidelines change.

If you lost your physical vaccine card, please go to the website below to access your vaccination record digitally. Save your QR code to your phone and present it at the event. https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/

No experience is necessary! All tools and instruction will be provided. Please bring a filled water bottle, snacks and wear closed toe shoes. Dress for the weather!

Event continues, Rain or Shine!

Important-All COVID-19 protocols will be followed for now. Please stay home if you are sick. A Health Survey is required before entry.

We will meet at the JFG main gate entrance on Senter Road. Please note that parking fees are now being charged! Parking passes for this event are available at the registration table-1300 Senter Rd.

Registration is at 8:45 AM, event begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM.

Please download the Volunteer Service Agreement and bring the form with you to the event. Please note-All persons under 17 must have a Parent Signature.
