Hwee is also an advocate for self-awareness, encouraging people to be kinder to themselves and embrace who they are. With a passion for the Japanese language and meaningful human connection, she enjoys creating experiences that bring people together through movement, mindfulness, and cultural exchange.
Willis Lau | Founder of Nihongo Jouzu SG
Willis is the founder of Nihongo Jouzu SG, a community that brings together people in Singapore who share an interest in learning and practising Japanese. Through regular meetups and his personal goal of meeting 100 Singaporeans who speak Japanese, he creates opportunities for learners of all levels to connect, make friends, and gain confidence using Japanese in a fun and supportive environment.
His personal mission is to continually surpass his own limitations, become 1% better each day, and ultimately reach the top 1% by living with intention and purpose. He encourages everyone to define life on their own terms and create a life that is authentically theirs.
