Nightjar Walk - Talbot Heath

As dusk settles over the heath, our knowledgeable rangers will guide you along paths, sharing stories about the landscape and its wildlife while we listen for the nightjar’s distinctive churring call. With a bit of luck, we will hopefully catch some sightings of these well‑camouflaged birds as they across the heathland.

Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. A torch can be helpful for finding your way along the paths.

This walk suitable for anyone with an interest in nature and a great chance to experience Talbot Heath as it changes from day to night. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
