As daylight fades, an entirely different underwater world begins to awaken!
Join Sunrise Paddleboards for an extraordinary guided night snorkeling adventure along the beautiful reefs of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.
Armed with underwater flashlights, you'll explore the reef after dark, discover fascinating marine life, and experience the ocean from a completely different perspective.
WHAT MAKES NIGHT SNORKELING SPECIAL?
The reef transforms after sunset. Some daytime creatures settle into their nighttime resting places while others emerge to explore, feed, and hunt.
Keep your eyes open for:
- Spiny lobsters emerging from their hiding places.
- Octopuses exploring the reef after dark.
- Crabs and other nocturnal creatures becoming more active.
- Sleeping reef fish tucked into protected spaces.
- Colorful corals and marine formations illuminated by your underwater flashlight.

EVENT SCHEDULE
6:00 PM — Check-In & Welcome
Meet your guides, check your equipment, and get ready for your adventure.
6:10 PM — Safety Briefing & Orientation
Review nighttime snorkeling procedures, flashlight communication, buddy assignments, and marine-life etiquette.
6:30 PM — Night Snorkeling Adventure Begins
Enter the water with your guides and explore the reef after dark.
8:00 PM — Adventure Concludes
Return to shore, return equipment, and share your favorite discoveries.

Final detailed meeting instructions will be provided to registered participants day prior to event.
WHO SHOULD JOIN?
This adventure is designed for confident swimmers who have previous snorkeling experience and are comfortable in open water.
Night snorkeling is different from daytime snorkeling. Reduced visibility and nighttime ocean conditions require extra awareness and confidence.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Participants must be comfortable swimming in open water.
- Follow all guide instructions and remain with your assigned buddy.
- Do not touch, chase, collect, or disturb marine life.
- All participants must use the required safety equipment.
- Tours are subject to suitable weather, visibility, surf, and current conditions.
- The organizer may postpone or cancel the event if conditions are unsafe.
