Please join us after 7:00pm on September 20 at the Niabi Zoo Parking Lot for a tour of the early Fall night sky. The planets Saturn and Neptune will put on a nice show once the sky darkens sufficiently, followed by Uranus after 10:00. M27 (the Dumbbell Nebula), M8 (Lagoon Nebula), M17 (Swan Nebula), M31 (Andromeda Galaxy), and Erakis (The Garnet Star) will be among the featured objects along with many other beautiful objects that should be visible weather permitting.
Telescopes including the PACMO (mobile observatory) will be set up with knowledgeable club members to guide you. If you have a telescope bring it along. Please keep in mind restroom facilities are not available. Weather related updates will be posted on September 20 if needed. FREE & FAMILY FRIENDLY
