Night Ride Bicycle Tribe

We ride out at dusk wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and bike gear while we chat, listen to music, and leisurely take a 55-minute, 8.8-mile bike ride. It is an easy scenic flat ride with less than four hills (two are large at Shelley Lake - but I walk them).

Get there early to socialize and network. We will leave the parking lot around 7:00 p.m. Plenty of other riders will join us on the trail, including walkers and joggers on some occasions. Therefore, we usually ride in a semi-straight line, so some bike experience is needed. Women are SAFE. We see women walking alone at night.

For safety, we wear athletic shoes and clothing, helmets, and elbow and knee pads, and we advise everyone to do the same. I advise purchasing a bright white front light because it is dark riding back. To match our bikes, we wear fun, silly, and glow-in-the-dark outfits.

Bring your own water and snacks. Bikes, gear, and tools will not be provided, although we are a community and will share resources.

You do not have to order multiple tickets. One ticket per group will work. You can bring as many people as you like.

Children over ten are allowed as long as they are strong bike riders, have high endurance, and aren't afraid of the dark.
