Start times have been pushed back a bit now that sunset is later. They will run from 19:00 - 19:45.
Course closing time of 20:15.

The courses are still to be finalised but there will be our usual 3 course options on offer i.e.

Short 2 k
Medium 3 k
Long 4 k
N.B distances are for guidance.
The electronic timing will be used to record the overall time taken by each competitor. There will be no timing boxes out on the course.
What you will need
For this event you will need a torch with sufficient battery life to get you round your course. While there are some street lights there are also some areas which are dark.
All courses will cross roads and while traffic is usually light within the Crichton you are advised to wear hi-vis clothing.

Entry fees for this event are £5 per adult and £2.50 per junior for members of this or another orienteering club. £7 for non-members (£3.50 juniors).
The start / finish area has not be finalised as yet but updates will be posted on the web and those who pre enter will be sent an e-mail with the final details.
Pre entries will close at 22:00 on Thursday 19th March to allow time to get maps printed.
Entry on the night at the event
Some maps will be available for entry on the evening but to guarantee that a map of the course of your choice is available you should pre-enter.
