Night of The Archives: Kansas City Edition is The Blakk Co’s signature living museum experience, where the stories of Kansas City unfold through atmosphere, memory, and shared presence. This is not a lecture and not a performance, it is an immersive evening where history breathes in the room with you.
Each gathering is guided by featured historian Derrick Willmore Jr., who brings context, untold narratives, and cultural insight into conversation with the space and the people inside it. Through storytelling, archival moments, and reflection, the past meets the present in a way that feels personal and immediate.
Held every 1st Saturday at The Blakk Co Social Club, this series invites guests to slow down, connect, and experience Kansas City’s legacy beyond the page in the spirit of the rooms and communities that have always shaped it.
