The Marquis Theater is excited for its first Night of Comedy featuring Andy Beningo!With over 3,500 career performances, Andy Beningo has established himself as one of the most in demand comedians working today. Hailed for his clean and “every man” style, Andy has been named one of the 40 Best Up and Coming Comedians in the country, as well as “Best Comedian” by both the Detroit Metro Times and Detroit Hour magazine. His rare ability to find humor in subjects like growing up the middle child, his short lived career as a middle school teacher and our society’s obsession with technology has made him a crowd favorite in audiences worldwide.
The nights host is Sara Young and includes featured comedian Mark Bonto.
Mark has won numerous acting and writing awards, appeared in seven major films, hundreds of theatrical productions, and has hosted, written, and produced multiple award-winning “Comedy On Tap” television show, a mix of variety and talk show formats.
Sara Young is from the wilds of Westland, MI, and mistakenly considered to be a “responsible adult.” Sara has been using comedy to voice her confusion over being an Accidental Adult and life in general for a decade.
Her energetic rants and observations throw her entire family (including herself) under the bus and leave you wanting to know what happened next?
Sara has been seen throughout the Midwest and Canada at Comedy Clubs and and anywhere she’s given a mic.
