ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Heather Stigall uses her experience with children and her degrees in Child Development, Psychology-based Human Relations, and Social Work to create stories that speak to kids. She is an active volunteer for the Eastern PA Chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, a member of the 12x12 Picture Book Challenge, and wife and parent to five children and one pup. When she’s not writing, you can find Heather hanging out with her kids (hopefully at the beach), reading, eating chocolate, baking, or creating all sorts of treasures. She is the author of Gilbert & The Ghost, which Kirkus Reviews praised as "a surefire hit for readers looking for seasonal fun."

Laura Parnum is the author of the award-winning middle grade novel Peril at Price Manor and The Haunting of Bellington Cottage, a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. Her stories blend humor and heart with a touch of horror.
When she’s not writing, she’s editing other people’s stories and helping out at local elementary school libraries. She currently serves as Co-Regional Advisor for the Eastern Pennsylvania region of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Laura lives with her family in Philadelphia. They have a turtle that bites and a snake that doesn’t.

S.W. Lynch is a writer and editor who lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the author of five books of poetry: the city of your mind (Whirlwind Press, 2013), Broad Street Line (Moonstone Press, 2016), 100 Haiku (Moonstone Press, 2017), On Violence (Radical Paper Press, 2019), and Halo Nest: Poems on Grief (Alien Buddha Press, 2024). Lynch’s debut novel, The Beast in the Pines is a disturbing novel about the Jersey Devil that delves deep into the human psyche and bridges the gap between the psychological and supernatural horror genres.
