Hoo-hoo-hoo is out there making those noises in the evening? What sights and sounds can we expect to witness as the sun dips below the horizon? Well - there's only one way to find out! Come join us as we experience Newport News Park in a whole new way!
Ages: Recommended 12+
Program Details:
We will start the hike at the Discovery Center in Newport News Park.
The trail length will be about 1 mile, crossing Dam #1 Bridge and continuing along our Twin Forts Loop trail.
Please bring a flashlight, since we will be walking an outdoor trail at night. We do have some to lend out, but they are in limited supply.
Please dress appropriately for the weather that evening (i.e. raincoat if we are expecting a light drizzle).
We may cancel the program if we are expecting severe weather. You can call 757-886-7916 to check on the program status.
Join us on Saturday, October 18th at 6:15 PM for a 'Night Hike'! Meet us at the Discovery Center in Newport News Park.
