It's back... and better than ever!
Come and join us on Saturday 6th September 2025 for an evening of deadlifting and pushing past your limits.
Overhead? Nah we're over it. Yoke? Move aside. Competing against people? You are your own competition, it's You v You Baby!

Night at the Deadlifts is all about everyone lifting together, hitting some new PBs and hanging out with a bunch of likeminded folk that also want to spend their Saturday night lifting heavy things.
So how does it work?
There will be 4 lift types on the night:- Conventional Deadlift, Sumo Deadlift, 18 Inch Monster Tyre Deadlift and Tandem Deadlift. You pick your main lift type and have 3 lift attempts (we recommend your first lift being something that is a bit of a challenge but you know you can lift, then using the next two lifts to hit a new PB!)
So one main lift sounds cool, but you want to add on additional lifts? Great! you sure can, each additional lift is priced at £10 per lift type and you can add it on nice and easy, you still get 3 lift attempts for each additional lift. Tandem Deadlift will be additional lift type only, not main lift and all funds raised through Tandem Deadlift will be donated to YoungMinds charity (because we all need to work together to help lift each other up)
Think your not strong enough? Night at the Deadlifts is open to all athletes of every ability from total beginner to stadium pros including our very own Dean Evans who will be going for over 1000lbs!
Need adaptations? Just let us know! Our aim is to make Night at the Deadlifts inclusive and accessible to all and we will do everything we can to make it possible for you to take part, just let us know what we can do.
After all of the lifting is done, there will be a presentation ceremony too so it is a great photo op!

We will contact you within 48hrs with payment details so that you can confirm your space
Once you have made your payment, you are all set to go and your space is confirmed
Get training! You want to be your best you on the night right?
Around 2 weeks before the event we will send you out an info pack that will include all of your event details such as parking and facilities as well as any FAQs we pick up along the way (there will also be a link to the event Spotify playlist so you can put your stamp on the sound track for the evening!)
Your main lift entry fee will include a competition t-shirt and personalised competition certificate, additional lifts will include include a personalised competition certificate for each lift.
Kit allowed: all straps, all suits, all chalk, no glue, no baby oil
