🌙 Spend the night where Delaware's stories come to life!
Join the Delaware Public Archives for Night at the Archives, a FREE overnight adventure for children ages 5–12 and their adult chaperones.
Families will enjoy an evening of history, exploration, and fun with activities including: games, a scavenger hunt, crafts, an educational film, a flashlight tour, and more!
Then, roll out your sleeping bags and spend the night surrounded by Delaware's history.
Friday, August 28
5:30–6:00 p.m. — Check-in
6:00 p.m. — Pizza dinner
6:15 p.m. — Mandatory orientation
6:30 p.m. — Doors close; no additional entry
6:45 p.m. — Games, scavenger hunt, and crafts
8:00 p.m. — Educational film and evening snack
9:00 p.m. — Flashlight tour and bedtime story
10:00 p.m. — Lights out
Saturday, August 29
8:00 a.m. — Wake-up
8:00–9:00 a.m. — Continental breakfast
9:00 a.m. — Departure
This unique experience is designed to inspire curiosity, encourage learning, and create lasting memories in one of Delaware's most historic buildings.
Registration is required.
