The annual reunion for children cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Children's & Women's Hospital is planned for Saturday, April 25, from noon to 2 p.m. All NICU graduates, their families and former caregivers are invited.
USA Health provides the only level III NICU on the Alabama Gulf Coast where more than 1,000 premature infants get their start each year. Within the NICU is a small baby unit, one of only a handful in the United States dedicated to caring for extremely premature infants.
