Join us at Limited Edition Comics & Collectibles on Friday, May 1, from 11:30am–1:30pm as author Nick Narigon introduces his debut novel, Montuga: The Spheres of Trivandré.The Cedar Falls native had a twenty-year journalism career that included ten years in Japan where he was editor-in-chief of Tokyo Weekender magazine. In 2024, while living in Singapore, Nick co-founded the independent publishing company Hayseed Press. Through Hayseed Press he published his first book, The F-Man Himself, in 2025. He also contributed to the short story collections Iowa Weird Vol. 1 and A Very Special Hayseed Christmas.
In Montuga: The Spheres of Trivandré, follow Faud Medina, a centuries-old shaman and shapeshifter living in a mountainside burial crypt in the American Southwest. To save a remote orphanage, as well as the future of humanity, Faud joins a ragtag team of shapeshifters assembled by the mysterious thunderbird Po’Pay to battle the nefarious goat man Humberto—and Faud’s own demons.
