In this hands-on cooking class, Vekonda will guide you through the art of preparing Mok Bpah—a traditional Lao steamed fish dish wrapped in banana leaves, bursting with herbal, aromatic goodness.

While Mok Bpah is often associated with celebratory occasions in Lao culture, such as weddings, it also embodies the warmth and togetherness that families cherish during the holiday season. Nibble Kitchen Cooking Classes are 2/3 cooking class, 1/3 dinner party! Come hungry and ready to jump right into the kitchen with Chef Vekonda. Nibble classes are very hands-on, Chef Vekonda will guide us through every step of the class, but be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

When the food is all ready we will sit together and share the meal we have just created! This is also a great chance to chat with Chef Vekonda and learn all about holiday celebrations in Laos.
