Lunch Stop: Strip mall with Salvadorian, Thai, Afghan Kabob, & Pizza shop, 20 Plantation Drive, Suite 135 Fredericksburg, VA 79 miles
Description of ride:
Join us on a week-long ride to Niagara Falls in upstate New York near Buffalo. On the ride up we’ll visit the Zippo Factory in Bradford PA where you can drop off your old zippo lighter for repair on the spot! In New York you can visit the American side, and if you want to visit the Canada side of Niagara Falls bring your passport and familiarize yourself with Canada entry requirements (link below). While on the Canada side, we will visit Wayne Gretzky Estates, a restaurant and distillery. We will also attend the 185th annual Erie County Fair, birthplace of the hamburger in 1885 and 275 acres of live concerts, exhibits, agricultural competitions, vendors and food! We will also enjoy a scenic ride with a lunch stop at the Anchor Bar, the birthplace of the Buffalo Wing.
Hotel reservations:
The overnight stop on the way there, August 10th (cost $83.30 + tax) will be at Super 8, 4498 Business 220, Bedford PA, 814-310-9393, blocked under "Reginald F". For our extended stay near Buffalo, we will check in on August 11 and check out August 15th ($97 + tax per night) at the Red Roof Inn, 5370 Camp Road, Hamburg, NY. No need to call and reserve a room here; you will apply your name to the room upon check in when you present a credit card. The August 15th stay at Super 8, 118 Limestone Road, Hancock MD is full. Folks who have rooms will keep them, all others please call Holiday Inn Express, 12426 Houck Ave, Clear Spring, MD, 301-842-0290. Rooms are available NOW and are NOT blocked.

*NO IMPAIRING SUBSTANCES allowed during a Chapter ride.
