Experience the NGV at night as it comes alive – think fashion, two global icons, and a soundtrack by Melbourne’s favourite DJs. Tanzer is a musician, artist, DJ and creative director based in Melbourne. With a perfectly-lacquered finger in the world of music, art, fashion and beauty, Tanzer's adventures often combine disco, 90s dance, Euro soundtracks and 'space opera' vocals.
🖤 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Pairing two of the most influential fashion designers in recent history, Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons, Westwood | Kawakubo showcases over 140 designs that explore the commonalities and differences between the two designers’ work.
Today, their critically acclaimed collections are celebrated globally for questioning conventions of taste, gender and beauty, as well as challenging the very form and function of clothing.
