Do you have kids in grades 6 -12 in your life that love animals? Of course you do! Bring them out for NextGen Days! We will be holding a mock Rapid Response to show our young friends what it takes to rescue and care for animals. They will get to learn and perform actual animal care for dogs temporarily housed at The Glenn and Shirley Hulcher Family Animal Care Center, 1961 E. Hickory Hill Road, Argyle, TX 76226.
What is Rapid Response? This is when Humane Tomorrow takes in a large number of animals from an emergency situation. We house them at our facility and volunteers provide daily care until we can place them into foster homes. These larger groups of animals could be part of an animal cruelty case or a bunch of puppies that found themselves at an already overwhelmed and overcrowded animal shelter.
