Next Stop: Bank Speakers!

Bank Speakers is a public speaking club located near St Paul's Cathedral, in central London.

The club was formed from the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants but is an open club and welcomes new members.

Our Goal

The aim of the club is to help its members improve their public speaking, communication and leadership skills. Learn, through presenting and evaluating fellow club members, how to:

• write and deliver a prepared speech
• listen more effectively
• give feedback to others in a more helpful way
• introduce other speakers
• organise, chair and run meetings and events

How do we help?

We do this by providing a mutually supportive and positive learning environment. It is not a formal course in public speaking with instructors. Work is not graded nor are tests administered. We give you the opportunity to attend local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests.

Who are we?

People like you! We are a group of people from diverse backgrounds who do not aim for perfection but simply improvement, and that happens quicker than you'd think!

Where and When?

Thursdays at 7.20am for a 7:30am start (meeting finishes before 9am)

* on the 1st Thursday => we meet in person at Saint Vedast-alias-Foster - 4 Foster Ln, London EC2V 6HH (check pictures to find us)

* and on the 3rd Thursday => we meet online on Zoom (link provided after RSVP)

Come Along!

Our club thrives on guests so feel welcome to come along to a meeting as a guest. We won't make you speak if you don't want to, but we fully encourage guests to participate so you can get feedback and be on your way to becoming a better speaker.

And we also offer free coffee/tea for a great start to the day!
