Mastered the basics and want to progress? Getting frustrated about not quite clearing the jumps? Have a mental block you cant quite push past?
This next level jumps and drops course is designed to do exactly that, take your skills and knowledge to the next level. After having completed our Intro into jumps and drops course, this course looks to build on your already solid foundation of skills and helps you gain a further understanding of how to jump further, pop higher and land smoother. Our aim is to help you feel confident and controlled no matter what size feature you are faced with.
The aim of this course is to build up your understanding of how and why to ride different features with different techniques. We know that every jump and drop is slightly different to the next so we give you the knowledge to help you understand how to tackle any size jump or drop in complete control.
We look at how to ride jumps and drops at different speeds and how this changes our techniques. We look at how to ride drops in to down slopes and how to maintain balance coming into land. We teach you about how the timing of your technique can massively effect the outcome of your jump. We start to build a level of precision to help you feel confident about where and how to land. This course is designed to build up the information we deliver to help you gradually progress at your own pace in a safe, relaxed and controlled environment.
By the end of this course you will have a better understanding of how to ride any size feature with consistent results. Our aim is to boost your confidence and tackle any barriers previously standing in your way.
We expect anyone booking on to this course to have either attended our ‘Intro into Jumps and Drops’ course with us before or be comfortable riding black graded trails to get the most out of this course and progress at a faster level. The course will be based around the skills areas and on the black graded trails at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre.
