Join industry leaders, innovators, and legal experts for a forward-looking in-person and online panel discussion exploring the rapidly evolving landscape of medical sensor technologies. Sponsored by Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds and the Medical Development Group of Boston, this session brings together perspectives from academia, startups, and industry to examine how cutting-edge sensors are transforming diagnostics, monitoring, and personalized medicine.

We will explore breakthroughs in biosensors, wearable devices, and optical sensing platforms, along with the growing role of artificial intelligence in enhancing signal processing, predictive analytics, and real-time clinical decision-making. The discussion will also address key challenges in protecting innovation, including patent eligibility, software-driven sensor claims, and global IP strategies.

Designed for startup companies, university technology transfer officers, venture capital firms, and medical device companies, this webcast will provide practical insights into:

  • Emerging medical sensor technologies and commercialization pathways
  • AI-driven sensor innovation and data interpretation
  • Patent strategies in medical sensing technologies
  • Opportunities for collaboration between academia, industry, and investors
  • Digital biomarkers and remote patient monitoring ecosystems
  • Sensor fusion (combining multiple modalities for better diagnostics)
  • Integration with telehealth and decentralized clinical trials

The session will conclude with a dynamic panel discussion and audience Q&A.
